What should I expect on my first visit? How long will it take? What should I bring?
Expect the first visit to last 1 to 1.5 hours. You will meet Dr. Sabbagh, and your overall oral health will be assessed. Our goal is to educate our clients and spend as much time with them as necessary to answer all their questions. In our computerized facility, Dr. Sabbagh can even show short videos about specific recommended procedures. Please block enough time out for your first visit, because we will take the time to educate you, answer your questions, and put you on the path to overall dental health.
What are your insurance and payment policies?
Insurance
As a courtesy to our patients, we will gladly submit your insurance claim to help you obtain the maximum benefit from your insurance provider. However, there are many misconceptions about dental insurance.
1. Dental insurance pays based on the premium paid by you or your employer. Higher premium plans pay more of the fees for your dental care and have fewer exclusions.
2. Dental Insurance helps defray the costs of dental care and requires patients to pay the portion of the fee that insurance does not cover. This is your co-payment. Any fees billed to your insurance carrier and not paid within 60 days are returned to you for payment.
3. Dental insurance policies restrict payment for some services, use restricted fee schedules and exclude some procedures based on prior conditions or length of time on the plan. Restrictions are based on policy guidelines and the premium paid for insurance.
Secondary Insurance
We do not accept assignment of benefits on a secondary insurance. You will be given the necessary forms so that you can submit for reimbursement from your secondary carrier.
Payment Options
We realize that each person's financial situation is different. Therefore, we provide several different payment options to our patients. For your convenience we accept cash and all major credit cards for your convenience.
Main Street Dentistry accepts:
Billing
Your estimated portion not covered by insurance is due on the day of your dental services. Our estimate is given based on the information given to us by your insurance carrier. However, we may need to send you a statement when the estimate differs front the actual reimbursement.
Broken Appointment Policy
Please consider your scheduled appointment carefully as we set aside this time for your dental care. We ask for 24-hour notice of cancellation. Your account will be charged $50.00 if we do not receive your cancellation . This cannot be charged to your insurance company. If you repeatedly miss scheduled appointments, you will be asked to give a credit card number to reserve your appointment.
Can you explain the most common procedures?
